Xtra Effort Solutions is excited to announce our Career Accelerator Program!
How do you get experience when every job seems to require experience?
The Xtra Effort Career Accelerator Program is designed to help answer that question.
Our goal is to give college students, recent graduates, and aspiring professionals the opportunity to gain meaningful real-world experience while creating work they can actually show future employers.
This is not an internship built around busy work. Participants will have opportunities to:
- Create and produce podcasts on relevant business and industry topics
- Conduct real research into companies, industries, technology, recruiting, marketing, and business trends
- Research, write, and publish a blog on the Xtra Effort Solutions website, giving participants professionally published work they can share with future employers
- Gain hands on experience in Business Development, Marketing, Recruiting, Sales, and professional networking
- Learn and use professional technologies and tools found in today’s recruiting and business development environment
- Work alongside experienced professionals while building valuable professional relationships
Most importantly, participants will be able to point to what they actually accomplished. Things like, podcast production, completed research, experience with professional technology, new business skills, professional connections, and real work experience to build out a portfolio.
We want participants to finish the program with more than another line on their résumé. We want them to have a stronger résumé because of what they actually learned, created, and accomplished.
The program combines Xtra Effort’s 25+ years of professional recruiting experience with a leadership team that brings advanced degrees in education and computer science as well as more than 30 years of educational experience.
And because Xtra Effort is a fully remote organization, participants can take part from wherever they are located.
